Foot exercising games

Small feet are little miracles

Do you know the feeling? You are looking at your baby’s tiny feet and you are fascinated. It is difficult to imagine that one day the baby will walk through life with them. These little miracles look far too vulnerable. When the baby lies, it moves its feet playfully and with ease. When it starts to crawl, stand up and learns to walk, life becomes slightly more strenuous. The foot and leg muscles start to develop. The metarsal arch is formed. Muscles, ligaments and tendons are used more and more each day.

Almost all children are born with healthy feet. You as parents can do a lot to make sure that they remain healthy. A foot must be able to grow unrestrained, in order to develop naturally. It must exercise to become big and strong. A shoe that fits will support your child in this. The best, however, which can happen to a foot, is being able to walk barefoot on a natural surface.

7 games for 10 toes are among your child’s favourite games. And in doing so it learns a lot. So that its feet also benefit from this, we can show you some barefoot games.  They are simple and effective. Because they exercise the ability to grip with the toes. This strengthens the toe muscles, thereby benefiting the metarsal arch.

All games have been recommended by doctors. Ideally, your child should play half an hour per day. During the summer on sand or grass, in winter on a rough carpet, if possible. By the way: your child will "work" even harder when mum and dad join in.
